In Science Learning and Instruction, researchers explore STEM learning to improve science learning and instruction in both classrooms and informal settings. Specific areas of research include improvement science for education reform (see Schunn), the relationships between instruction, motivation, cognition, and knowledge transfer (see Nokes-Malach), and reducing racial and ethnic disparities in STEM fields (see Iriti).
